Does your laptop have Nvidia Optimus graphics? (both Intel and Nvidia)

Noop... it doesn't have optimus nvidia graphics

"lspci | grep -i --color 'vga' " ----this gives me the following output

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation Device 0fcd ( rev a1)

I should be mentioning, I am new to kali linux...and I am confused at which step,where and how you want me to change the kernel parameter?

It should be an option in your bootloader, just search "Grub kernel parameters" or whatever bootloader you're using. I would use this guide. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/kernel_parameters

At this point, I have reinstalled kali linux again and no driver for nvidia is installed on my machine....Just to be sure....you want me to change the kernel parameter from Grub Kernel parameters and then follow normal guide to install nvidia driver....ryt?

Yes, add the kernel parameter to the /etc/default/grub file
