Neofetch - Display Song

hey guys - I am using mpd/ncmpcpp as my music player. I don't know why neofetch isn't showing up the artist and song title for all my songs.

You sure .mp3 files metadata is good? I'd check that out first to make sure it is using some tool like puddletag.

i manually enter the metadata. I will check puddletag and provide update.

when i have rhythmbox set and play the song, it works. just mpd doesn't seem to work

this didn't help. I just gave up. I don't know why mpd doesn't work but everything else works.
CMUS is another CLI that I like, but it can't leave it playing in the background while I go back to the terminal. ncmpcpp allows that. oh wells thanks
