Hello Guy's,
My name is Gaurav, and I have a Sony Vaio(sve1513bynb) laptop, which came with Red flag in wise v8.0, but instead of that I installed windows 7on it, so I'm planning to install Red flag in wise v8.0, as I have registration key of Red flag, so I want to know, is it okay to go for Redflag?

Red Flag Linux is defunct. V.8 is 3 years old.

If you want to keep the Chinese link I would try Deepin https://www.deepin.org
or Ubuntu Kylin http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/ubuntu-kylin

Red Flag was based on Asianux https://www.asianux.com/
and Fedora https://getfedora.org/
If you want to keep the RPM , rather than Debian base, go for that - or possibly Centos

...but NOT Red Flag

Thanks for your good explanation. Can you suggest me from which distribution of linux should I start, as I have never used Linux before.

Ubuntu is a good start for beginners.
