most compatible distro for chromebookOS

Hello, Linux newbie here. I'm looking for a distro that would be the least complicated and easiest to use on a ChromebookOS. Any recommendations? thanks!

Depends on the specification of your chromebook, they are noted for their minimal construction [low ram, slow processors, & small drives] So generally speaking you will need a light to medium build, so something like, Kubuntu, Bunsen, Elementary, & Endeavour spring to mind, if you Chromebook has an ARM processor just make sure the distribution you select has ARM support
