Looking for a new distrobution to try(and maybe like)

Hello, you all know me(hopefully) and I am looking for a distribution that uses the a tgz package manager. I want a install that is pretty straight forward and easy to figure out(A menu like the debian advanced installer is fine too) and would run pretty fast on a netbook. I have tried Ubuntu, Puppy, Mint, Debian, Deepin, Arch, Lite, Mandrake, and OpenSUSE. Ideas? Just for fun I added a little poll.
Edit: On second thought, I might like a system where I can build packages from the source.
