Just bought 8 linux servers

they was cheap...and old i guess

they are running Ubuntu 14.4 and I am picking them up this afternoon, could someone suggest some tools to evaluate these servers? ,maybe some diagnostics? first time playing with servers ever.

working pulls from systems, not sure yet what is installed, or if they even work(or if they'll even give me passwords(do i need any?))

worst that can happen is that i am out the cheap price i paid, less their weight in scrap, although i could probably recover it in parts sales. might do that anyway after i get bored tinkering with them.

well, i think they work. look like the IT place that sold them installed 14.4 desktop on them

oh, I didn't have cables for the dl580, but the rest boot up fine, neew to figure out how to get them to talk to my network so I can do update and upgrade
