Just did a full install of Mint last weekend. When I start the computer, a few screens flash quickly with all this text, one before the Mint logo and one after. They seem to vary. Is this normal at startup? Just asking because I had some problems installing and messed around with partitions I had no business messing with LOL. No other issues that I can tell. Everything seems to be working fine.
Is it normal to see this at startup?

acpi errors are par for the course.
Something to do with the way motherboard manufacturers deal with/don't deal with some minor problem
(I know....that sounds decidedly low tech.)
