My iMac late 2013 on Ubuntu 2020.04 neither recognizes the internal wifi:
802.11ac Wi-Fi wireless networking;2 IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n compatible
nor a D-Link adapter.
Is there a solution?
Merci.

Welcome to the forums
lots of wi-fi questions today

please run terminal.. inxi -N [ inxispace-N]

if you don't have inxi then to install its usually

sudo apt install inxi

forgot to say copy and paste the results back

I had a lot of lines of error and it didn't work. (I didn't think of copying them.) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So I reinstalled Ubuntu, for the six time or more, but, for the first time, I asked for the inclusion of third parties applications (or something like that - excuse the beginner) and it seems like that's all that was needed: the wifi connection was live automatically.
I didn't do that though on an old MacBook air and the wifi was installed directly.
So it's still a mystery to me. You might know better.
Thanks again: you made me use Terminal for the first time.

inxi is one of our most used tools, it would be useful if you perceive and install it. [ not sure with ubuntu but it may br in the software manager]

ok now this will tell you about your kit [never use this code for pasting to forums
inxi -Fnx [dont forget the space between inxi and -] for posting on forums you add Z this filters out security sensitive information [ inxi -Fnxz]

your welcome, have fun
