"But one" ... there is always an exception.

But it's nice Fedora tries to vary things for different tastes. Too bad it refused to install on my computer, and since it's going all-Wayland I would have to get a "modern" computer and try again. See if "dnf" really does execute faster than in Fedora 36 LOL.

Fedora is not Wayland only. MATE for example is X11 only. Gnome can be installed with legacy X11 or Wayland.

wayland can be turned on and off at will quite easily.
