I can't access bios in encrypted Debian installation

HP laptop. The first screen at power up say ''press esc to access boot menu'' and then it asks the password. If I do press esc it takes me to a grub bash command line. I want to remove the encryption of the HD but it doesn't boot anything. For more info please ask me. Thanks

You should be able to boot into bios before the grub bootloader.

Yes, I have to repeatedly press esc before the message appear on the screen, Thanks

Its usually F10 on HP laptops to enter full bios
switch on at the same time jiggle F10 [You only have 3-5 seconds to do it before it tries to boot]
