How to remove youtube app from ubuntu?

I tried sudo apt remove youtube but it didn't remove the app. How do I remove it? It was installed from website itself. It's not in Ubuntu Software Centre.

Have you tried "sudo apt-get remove youtube"?

Where did it install to.....the ubuntu os as an app?....or to your browser?

That youtube is an web app. You can't use apt remove to uninstall a web app. Its just an youtube website with standalone window and icon which is called as web app.
Just go to chrome -> open a new tab, type chrome://apps -> right click on the youtube icon -> click on "remove from chrome".

Super. Worked. It was installed from slimjet from link www.youtube.com

@balenshah ....the download for a web app at the youtube url is not easily seen.....what are we missing ?....did you type youtube app into the search bar there ?
