salve a tutti. essendo poco avvezzo all’uso di linux , ho bisogno di un aiuto per modificare dei pc atom touchscreen con fedora 12 ed un server virtuale con fedora 20 ed apache. Il tutto era nato per avere postazioni VDI per gestionale ed intrattenimento , ma poi è stato abbandonato il progetto. Ora vengono utilizzati solo come intrattenimento per la parte TV. L’utenza utilizza il touchscreen SOLO come TV , con vari canali (RAI , MEDIASET ,etc). Ora il problema è che con il passaggio alle trasmissioni HD il tutto non funziona. quindi volevamo aggiornare gli atom.
i touchscreen partono in automatico e presentano un menu , che caricano dal server via IP , poi cliccando sul 'icona relativa vedono il cnale tv scelto (la trasmissione avviene in UDP)
in sostanza avrei bisogno di capire 1) inanzi tutto come bloccare l’avvio dei touchscreen per vedere cosa viene richiamato dal server e quali sono le app ed i driver utilizzati , per poi aggiornarli 2) come modificare il menu caricato , che sarà lanciato da qualche script su apache via web del server 3) come modificare/aggiornare , anche ad una release superiore , gli atom per poter gestire direttamente mpeg4
la richiesta è esigente , ma ci eviterebbe di “buttare” un capitale consistente, grazie a chiunque ci volesse aiutare
Hello everyone. being unaccustomed to the use of linux, I need help to modify touchscreen atom pc with fedora 12 and a virtual server with fedora 20 and apache. Everything was born to have VDI workstations for management and entertainment, but the project was then abandoned. Now they are used only as entertainment for the TV part. The user uses the touchscreen ONLY as a TV, with various channels (RAI, MEDIASET, etc). Now the problem is that with the transition to HD broadcasts everything does not work. so we wanted to update the atoms. the touchscreens start automatically and present a menu, which they load from the server via IP, then by clicking on the relative icon they see the chosen TV channel (the transmission takes place in UDP) basically I need to understand 1) first of all how to block the startup of the touchscreens to see what is called from the server and which apps and drivers are used, to then update them 2) how to modify the loaded menu, which will be launched from some script on apache via web server 3) how to modify/update, even to a higher release, the atoms to be able to directly manage mpeg4 the request is demanding, but it would prevent us from "throwing away" a substantial capital, thanks to anyone who would like to help us
