Hi guys

So watched a variety of open-source, intro to Linux, security and privacy channels on YouTube. Regarding security and privacy the guy at the 'Techlore' channel (link below) consistently talks about Fedora being his choice. He doesn't go into any detail that I am understanding, so I want to know a bit more. What is it that separates Fedora from other distros? eg. Are the applications sandboxed? Is it the frequency of system/security updates that keeps the OS secure, the community?

Cheers

Perhaps check this out first for fedora: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Security_Features
Links from that site provide more details on sandboxing and other features. It's a big topic.

There are distros that specialise in security like qubes and tails but distros generally have access to the tools and methods to increase security if one wishes to increase it from the default offerings.
