Ethernet Ip packets are not being forwarded by the bridge

Hi,

Facing one issue .
My setup is like there are 2 boards and one test PC. The pc ethernet cable is connected to eth0 port of board 1, eth1 of board1 is connected to eth0 of board 2 . On both the boards have created bridge , added both interfaces to it , assigned different ip address and enabled ip_forward in /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward.
But the issue is that whatever packets i send from packet generator tool those are coming to eth0 of board1 but those packets are not being received at eth0 of board 2.
what would be the issue please let me know.

first thing I would check is the cable - using static ips?

Any reference working code which you can share to communicate between 2 boards with linux bridge.
