Twingate can somehow check if you have a firewall on and encryption on.

I'm not sure how Twingate collects the information whether encryption is on or not (somehow it collects that information from the OS).

Is it possible to do something so that Twingate sees that encryption is on, without actually having encryption on?

I am using Ubuntu 20.04

Twingate is a Zero Trust Network - I do not know a lot about “Zero trust” networking or Twingate but it is a network access model that is based on the principle that the network and the users that want to connect to private resources on it are assumed to be untrusted (hence “zero trust”).

To answer your question - the answer is no you can't as far as I know
