    I recently installed CSF on my new VPS. I was just wondering, do you think CSF is ready to go as soon as activated? Do you think any further changes are required?

    After installation csf need to configure as per your requirement, for this you can edit edit csf.conf. All the configuration files for csf are in /etc/csf. The most important thing to check in configuraton disable testing mode in csf.conf by changing:

    TESTING = “1″

    TESTING = “0″

    and restart csf.

    csf -r

    CSF has its integration into Webmin or other panels like DA... You can use GUI for management of the firewall.
