command for listing cores using threads

    hi all,
    How can i know which core use which thread? Is there and command for linux?

    Yes, htop has this (and many more) options. With htop there's not reason to use top anymore.

    thanks carbon333 but it is not working, are u sure 'htop'?
    > htop: command not found

    Of course. But you need to install it first. In ubuntu:

    apt-get install htop
