can you ocr in scanner software?

hi all

challenge for you all;

i currently have to use 2 programs;
first the scanner software and then i have to go into another software to ocr it

way toooo much manual labor

theres gotta be a one-stop-shop.

which scanner software will allow us to ocr it

i'm guessing if there is one, that finding the scanner driver will be the hardest part of it
