Sharing the same home directoty with other users. During my recent problem I added some other users which of course made their own home directories with all the folders normally made. I would like to have the others users for login issues if the need shows itself again but not have the replicated home directories which takes up space. I'd like all the users to have access tot he same home directory for simplicity's sake. Can this be done? Thank in advance.

I'd think it doesn't simplify things. In fact, it probably rather complicates things, as now you have to worry about ensuring everyone has wrx permissions in the /home directory. If one person breaks something, everyone is broken. Data privacy becomes an issue as well. And people can't customize to their own liking. If you insist going this "shared" route, just create a community user account and have everyone log into it.
"Community" was just a term I used to indicate a shared account. Ala, "kids" or "family", vs. "bob" or "donna".
