arch install goes fine up untill grub

apparently grub doesnt like that my bios is set to csm over uefi (im unable to change it results in an error)

is there an way to get around this?

it would help if :

you would confirm your PC is uefi and how you confirmed that

post the command you used to try and install grub

post the error you got

also handy a screenshot of your partitions using gPArted and screenshot

I have had the same headache trying to install on Vmware Workstation but I have no answers other than I found a prebuilt VMDK that got it done for now.

Maybe do a manual install using the Arch Installation guide, I have a vm running in vmware that's running bios boot and it doesn't have a problem with Grub.
