A video just came up about the value of privacy, I post it mostly for the people in the developed world that are lacking information, and I think that is because countries like the USA are well organized and the information that flows to the citizens is well controlled, but in the not so well organized countries you can still hear about the practices of governments and corporations in the television by officials... So I think that in some areas maybe the people in developing countries are more well informed than the developed world.
