10th NVMe Drive Missing

Trying to install AlmaLinux 8 on a Dell R640 equipped with 10 x 7.68TB NVMe U.2 drives. All 10 show up in iDrac storage inventory so they're recognized, but only 9 show up in AlmaLinux install (via IPMI). Curious why and if there's a fix?

Intel VMD stands for Volume Management Device. Make sure this is turned off in the BIOS

Thanks, but I cannot find that option anywhere in BIOS. I checked via iDrac 9 and BIOS directly (console), all the same features listed both places and nothing related to Intel VMD or Intel Volume Management Device.

I'm using this server to install KVM virtualzation (virtual servers)

Since Alma Linux is based on RHEL - you might want to have a look here - https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/poweredge-r640/drivers
click on Drivers and Update and select RHEL 9 as OS and look for - Dell Express Flash NVMe P5520/P5620 PCIe SSD Firmware Release - maybe it will help
