Hi all,
New to the forum and eager to learn. I've been trying to install Linux on a Thinkpad T510, but can't get passed the boot stage. I've tried using various versions of Linux, along with various USB installers and flash drives, but still no luck. Once I get to the installation menu and hit 'enter', my cpu simply reboots. I've searched for hours on the web trying to figure this out myself but I've been unable to make any progress. So I've decided to join this forum in a last ditch effort.
Any ideas? Do I need to update the bios? Please let me know if I can provide any additional info.
Thanks so much,
John
