As the title says, the Nvidia X Server Settings is empty lacking any real settings that I can configure. Some information:

Computer: Dell G5 15 5587
GPU: Intel Integrated/Nvidia GTX 1050 TI
OS: Debian 13 "Trixie" (latest/all updates are installed)
DE: KDE Plasma (X11)
Drivers: Debian Packaged Drivers version 550.163.01

A quick Google search shows this apparently is a somewhat common problem with computers that use Intel/Nvidia integrated graphics. The most common advice I found is to type:

Code:
sudo prime-select nvidia

However, when I type that into a terminal, I get:

Code:
sudo: prime-select: command not found

and prime-select doesn't seem to be a package that can be installed (at least not from the Debian repository).

Any help solving this issue would be greatly appreciated!

The NVIDIA X Server Settings application looks entirely empty because your desktop environment (KDE Plasma) is currently running on your Intel Integrated graphics. By default, the NVIDIA tool can only configure settings if the NVIDIA card is actively driving the primary X display. Because it's resting in the background, the application has nothing to show you.

So how do I force it to the forefront?
