ScreenFetch still exists. As does stuff like cpufetch and ramfetch.

Edit: I've been meaning to do a fastfetch article.

I'm sure a bunch of people will fork it, but will they maintain it?
It's a bash script, since it's feature complete maybe it doesn't need constant updates?

Good point. It shouldn't be too hard to maintain.

SO, to sum up all the posts re neofetch's demise......

IT HAS BEEN FORKED.

WHICH MEANS THE NEW URL IS ::.....(

Note: @dylanaraps, the original maintainer, has archived neofetch, so I've forked it to allow for continued development.......Loren/DB....

https://github.com/LorenDB/neofetch?tab=readme-ov-file

Which poses the question
:.When/how will the link in Linux Mints etc etc Software Managers point to this 'new' persons offering ?

We used to have a LorenDB as a Member, wonder if it is the same person.

I knew that name rang a bell !

Huh...

We'll just have to wait and see. I thought the name sounded familiar but I wasn't sure from where.

(I expect tons of forks as it's easy to fork and a simple project. It's a simple process to fork something. That's just a click on GitHub.)

Heck, I might fork it just to have it in my own Git for future reference - but I won't be maintaining it.

As @f33dm3bits mentioned, it should be easy enough to maintain, though I'm not sure where it's pulling its data from. I assume they're simple commands. The hard work with the graphics is already done. The rest should be fairly simple to maintain. (Still more effort than I'd commit to. I do plenty for the Linux community already. As do you!)
