The real blow to IBM/Red-Hat is that the groups which used to depend on their source code, all around them like AlmaLinux and, now SUSE are all getting together helping each other out the best they can. So that's why we're not yet seeing a major reaction of the clients much farther than complaints against IBM/Red-Hat. "Going solo" means becoming gradually less important. But I don't know a lot about the enterprise-class distributions and their makers.
