Hi All,
As a newbee to linux i have installed linux mint 19.3 but could not find anywhere to use the laptop camera, after reading up found out its not on the mint software install. Which do you recommend is good for family chat and easy to set up, i am newish to linux recently come back from continuous windows issues after about 10 years away.
Also can you recommend good places to learn about linux mint, command line ?

Thanks Ian

If it is Video Chat then personally I have used facebook Messenger to keep in touch during Covid - note that this requires having active facebook and I know that some people don't like facebook because of valid concerns. There is a standalone client available here (if you don't use a browser)

Alternatives are Zoom - which I have used and is very good to use.

Other alternatives are listed here:

Wife uses Zoom on MX-19 Linux without complaints.

I still use the old fashion telephone.

Yeah its pretty easy to use - only reason I'm not using it is that Mum could not understand how to use it - so had to use messenger which will allow more than one person like zoom - which I prefer.

Thanks everybody for your help!
JUST AN UPDATE ! I i now use messenger which i found easy to use.
