Want to find a distro that would be good for running a game server

I guess you should be looking at Ubuntu / Linux Mint / Debian.

Even "Puppy" will do this without any hassle.......and because she uses much less in the way or resources, it leaves that much more for anything that YOU want to do.

I'd use Linux Mint Debian Edition due to its relatively low overhead, non reliance on snaps and its Debian derived stability. That said, my main laptop which runs two lightweight city builder games through Steam, uses Arch and its been mostly very reliable and fast.
