So could anyone give me a beginners course on Raspbian Linux!

I am trying to download ZDoom and run it. But all the tutorials are way to advanced. This is just one incredably hard piece of software to use.

1 How do you copy paste a link into the terminal to properly download it?

2. How do you copy paste the install file intermeninal to properly download it?

If you use a mouse, middle-click will paste in most terminals.
If you are a keyboard-warrior, shift+insert will do the job.

I mean what do you write before the copypasted link?

On the second one I mean what do I write before and after FileName.Tar
