dos2unix Well-Known Member Joined May 3, 2019 Messages 2,379 Reaction score 2,059 Credits 18,253 Jul 29, 2019 #3 You can do it in two steps. gunzip myarchive.tar.gz (this will remove the .gz extension) tar xvf myarchive.tar or you can do it in one step tar xzvf myarchive.tar.gz
