no confirm on delete

I went into Nautilus and tried preferences to make a delete without the confirmation. But it still doesnt work. I DOnt want the confirm box..
 


?

most of my searching points to there being no choice in the matter......you have to confirm.

There's a very good reason you're asked are you sure you want to delete this...I'm sure you can work it out.

Nautilus doesn't have that as a setting, you have choice you can use a different file-explorer that does support that. I'm using PCmanfm, that has it has an option.

Another file-manager you could try is Dolphin but I would try PCmanfm first.
 
... or try another DE (Desktop Edition) other than GNOME?

I agree, I'm also using PCManFM. It has many useful features, including the option you mentioned. Additionally, I find its interface very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
