Hello.

I am usally an CentOS user, but were recommended by my server hosting provider to switch to AlmaLinux 8 for security reasons.

However, i can't seem to be able to use partitioning and lvm commands such as "vgdisplay", "lvdisplay", or any of them.

Does anyone know what's different between these two distros and how i may be able to set up LV and VG partitioning to use for KVM virtualization purposes?

Here are some of the responses from the SSH:
-bash: lvdisplay: command not found
-bash: pvs: command not found

Update: i found out why it didn't worked seems LVM2 weren't installed, if anyone else come across this issue following can be used:
yum install lvm2
