I own since 2001 Linux but it not installed on my new Pc who has a 64 architecture 4 core system i would like to know:

1-If i can install that version an update to fit this new architecture of asus system???
2- If it can be used has a server for other computing like windows 10 for my family member's???

I recommend installing a modern, up to date operating system.
Just about any modern Linux distro should work

Best advice use live versions to test what Distro you are most comfortable with.
