I mostly use Budgie and MATE, but I recently installed KDE on this system. It's not bad, I'm getting used to it.
But down in the bottom right hand corner it shows the date and time. The date is correct. However the time
never updates. It shows the time I booted up the computer and never changes. If I go into system settings
and look at the time and date, they are correct. If I go to to the console and type in "date" it comes back
as the correct time.

Is there a secret to getting the time widget in the corner to display the correct time?

I removed the widget in the activity bar, and added a desktop date/date widget.
That one shows the right time.
