Apologies if this looks like spam, but really it's not.
Just a quick heads-up in case anybody is interested in picking up a bargain....

Humblebundle.com currently has a bundle of Linux/BSD and free-software related ebooks available until Monday 30th July (or thereabouts).
The titles are all published by No Starch Press.

How many books you get depends on how much you choose to pay.

Link below for the impatient:

- The Artists Guide to GIMP: Creative techniques for Photographers, Artists and Designers
- The art of debugging with GDB, DDD and Eclipse
- Perl one liners: 130 programs that get things done
- The book of GNS3: Build virtual network labs using Cisco, Juniper and more
- No-starch summer sampler

For $8USD or more - you get the above plus:
- The book of Inkscape: The definitive guide to the free graphics editor
- The book of Gimp: A complete guide to nearly everything
- The book of pf: A no-nonsense guide to the openBSD firewall

- Thinking like a programmer: An introduction to creative problem solving

For $30USD or more - you get all of the above plus:
- The Linux programming interface: A Linux and Unix system programming handbook

I've just ordered the full bundle for myself - mainly because I REALLY wanted the linux programming interface book and the GIMP, Inkscape and Blender books.

Just thought I'd share it in case any of you lot are interested.
The humblebundle website regularly runs offers like this. I've picked up a few of their previous ebook bundles over the past couple of years and have managed to build a fairly sizeable library of ebooks for a fraction of the usual cost.

So if any of you are looking for some decent resources - this bundle might just be what you're looking for!

Regards,
Jas

Yarp, will do!

I've just finished having a quick browse though all the books in the bundle..... I've got to say I'm extremely happy with it. I definitely have a lot of quality reading time to look forward to over the next few weeks/months/years.... But seeing as it's 2:45am here - I'd better knock it on the head for the night and get try to get some sleep before work this morning! :/

WOW - big double thumbs up to you both :D:D

This has given me an idea ("Now that's dangerous", they say).

Watch this Section, I won't waffle on here.
