I spent lock down learnjng how to setup a linux server and to assess security. I have it dual booted with windows 10 and just got a handle on the file system.
When i tried to download lazarus using the apt it told me it recognozed it but there was no candidate installer.
After downloading manually i tried running dpkg to install the .deb file it started unpacking and installing but failed on the line that mentioned shared mime types. The reason i cant get the exact line is because i followed another post which ended in me in reinstalling kali.
Is there a log viewer or event viewer where i can get more details so that i dont just guess at solutions?
