Hello,
I am using Fedora 15, the most stable version from an authenticated DVD-ROM that goes with the book, A Practical Guide to Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
I am also using a Sierra Wireless USB hotspot device. Although, it recognized within the desktop, I still cannot or do not know how to properly set up a wireless device using the WLAN - wireless wide area network.
So far, I have tried ifconfig, and iwconfig commands in the shell, but it still does not detect anything.
I wonder if an Internet Protocol (IP) address is needed in Network Manager dialog.
My Ethernet controller is Broadcom 5764 that uses a PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) bus. Maybe they'll be a driver update for Linux Fedora 15.
Can anybody help me?
