Usually when playing a video there are times when I want to backup or advance the video. However, the progress bar is barely visible because of the color. Is there a solution to this? Does it require file editing or what?
Can video progress bar color be changed?

Choosing dark mode may actually make it better for you....give it a try...it is just a click to change back
Possibly changeing the theme may help ?.....your choice of colour......it may take a reboot after a change to bring about any change in the various applications.
Having a timeshift snapshot would be good before making changes
