yocto kernel load file boot

Hi all, I have a board with a linux yocto system. A chipset must be loaded at the boot of the board, with a file. So, i need to access files from the kernel during the boot procedure. I don't knwo how to do that. Is there someone that would have an idea on this ? Rdgs, Christsv
