dvd drive

I first downloaded Linux Mint (Cinnamon), and when it shows up in my files, it appears as a DVD Drive. I cant, or don't know how, to create my bootable USB drive from this. I've tried Rufus, then Etcher. No progress. I downloaded Linux Mint (Mate), same thing. So I went for Ubuntu Mate. Also the...
