hey dos2unix . thanks for your help i really appreciate it . i guess there are 2 ways of saving the changes 1 pressing ctrl+s ==> responds [ Error writing /etc/fstab: Permission denied ] 2 pressing ctrl+x then Y to save ==> same error the end is so close i can feel it :D :D
