Headphones will work with a USBc dongle but not directly into the headphone hole/jack

Fedora didnt work either. Similar issues and tests as the others.

Manjaro had issues as well, that link is to a different model but still will try Fedora tonight for sure

I can confirm, following all the standard alsamixer and pulseaudio tweaks has yet to work for a few people. It's a Realtek ALC298 if that helps. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1834566
