    I think i give up with this install. Nothing is working with the Purevpn install and I just noticed that although I am set up as Wireless my internet connection is labeled Wired. Maybe I will try another version. thanks anyway.

    My oh My. Just went to shut down but did this first. Opened Menu, clicked on Internet then right clicked onThunderbird and choose add to desktop. Brilliant! I'm not as old and brain dead as I thought.

    Hi---Thanks for the quick response. I have seen this link and for me it is just to much trouble just to accomplish a simple task. Just have to accept that Linux is not for me. The safety factor is what keeps bringing me back but it is time to just give up.
