An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Backup anything and everything, including Windows Product Keys, just in case.

Once reinstalling Windows10, it couldn't find the Windows License/Product Key. I record all the Windows Product Keys and also save the BitLocker codes too.

I always Format/Reformat any USB Flash Drive before using them, which should take care of any potential Malware problems. I seriously doubt that new flash drives sold by the major companies will have Malware. Anyway, don't buy or use cheap Flash Drives, it's not worth it.

I have used Rufus, however balenaEtcher is far easier (my opinion) to use.

According to WIKIPEDIA, RUFUS doesn't do Multiboot. I found balenaEtcher to be very easy to use, to burn one iso at a time.
