Has anyone ever used LiteSpeed? If so, what do you think of it? I've operated it for around 2 months now and I can say it made a big difference to the speed of my client's websites, much faster than Apache in my opinion.
I haven't set it up, but my host uses it and I'm surprised at how fast it is than Apache. If I ever set up a server, that's what I'm going to use
Gee, that's expensive. I heard they have a free version though, what's the limitations on that?Yes, I do personally highly recommend it. It is $14 per month though, which does seem like a lot for what you actually get. The software is only $4 a month cheaper than the actual VPS...

It only allows 5 virtual hosts, which if you're running a web hosting business will just fail, unless you have 5 or less sites hosted. It has a limit to 150 concurrent connections as well.

Apache is good for small sites but I heard nginx is much faster for high-traffic sites. Some people say that the Apache can be also fast and it depends what kind of configuration you made. The site speed is also influenced from other elements such as, browser cache and the size of your photos. If you have Wordpress site I would recommend the W3C Total Cache plugin, it can make the website real faster.
