how do I not have access to run/user/1000 when im the only user on this pc?

i tried timeshift, didnt work, tried bleach, didnt work, tried finding the files, they are either in /home or /run i think, and / or in private/encrypted - again no clue what happend here or what to do, trying to look for answers online, so far found none.

like ive shown, the issue is whatever is in /.Private and then gibberish encrypted stuff.

which drive do you keep your timeshift snapshots on ?

Have you only got two stored?....or are there more ?

there used to be like 10 but i culled them down due to it taking up a lot of space.

These are from my own notes....I had the same experience on my own pc

I have made the commands on bold

.I ran (at 16:30 same day) : sudo systemctl disable --now syslog.socket rsyslog.service
and...
sudo systemctl disable --now systemd-journald.service

Got a warning : Warning: Stopping systemd-journald.service, but it can still be activated by:
systemd-journald.socket
systemd-journald-dev-log.socket
systemd-journald-audit.socket

now I will delete both kern and syslog....and see what happens

August 27....215GB free....(14.9% Full)...appears to be consistent

Note today...May 2nd 2024......215GB free was perfect, and still is

AND
This info is probably better.......I dont have time to stay with you......you should be ok. Dont panic
READ....the link in RED
