I could not get the 7570 to boot off the 2.5" SATA III disk no matter what I did, no matter which OS I threw on it. Then I recalled I had the same issue with the SATAIII 2.5" SSD in my MSI. I wonder if some machines just don't boot off of it. 7570 had dual disks, the 2280 NVME slot and the 2.5 SATA.
Weird, because my old Dell 3340 only has 2.5" SATAIII and boot just fine off of it but transplanting the same SSD into 7570 - can't boot. Even despite selecting the SSD in BIOS as part of bootable options. That's fine, I made 2.5 data disk only.
