Well in my rubbish bin i now have a imac. It completely died. It was my second imac that i only had for 2 weeks. It appears i was taken for a fool. It was in a bad state but the seller told me all good, a terrific imac he said. It was crap. My first imac died as well so no more imacs for me...

sound all good. clicked speakers to spdif and back to speakers and it worked. now with bluetooth keyboard is unable to pair/connect. first up connected then disconnected.

i am now on my wifes pc btw

i noticed in system i had 2 sound cards listed. pipe wire and another, forgot its name

i did as instructed and alas, started in safe mode i think it is, no bt keyboard

how do i save any changes and exit

Well i did a reinstall and still no sound, but i do have system sounds, Just nothing when i play music.

all looks good. not sure what happened really but a reinstall should sort it

will play system sounds only

went to play a mp3 and no sound. might do a reinstall i think

all good this time around. current kernel and in update again

it is correct. timeshift and all good again. i will now restart and see what happens. stand by,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

turned pc off,went to a gp appointment, came home and turned it back on and alas, gone again

again no sound or bluetooth.

When this happened on the first occasion yesterday i reverted back but it made no difference. All good at the moment
