I broke the gnome

I'm not sure why, but as far as I can see at the moment, the fullscreen part is broken when the terminal is fullscreen, this doesn't happen with other windows. for example: firefox

Can anyone who knows why this is happening help me?

last time I installed kde and deleted it and just this.

Top right of the Terminal window click the diamond-shaped icon and see if it restores the size.
