Hello i'm Feckit8 and a Zorin Linux Newbie.
Testing on a flash driver before installing it fully.
Is this the best version to try or are their others.
Want to go over fully to Linux in the next year or so?

Good idea & any help would be welcome.

Thanks

There are others... many, many others. Zorin is very nice, and it is based on another distro called Ubuntu. There are many other Ubuntu derivatives that are also very nice, such as Lubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Gnome, Linux Mint, LXLE, and more. Ubuntu itself is based on another distro called Debian... it will also run "live" on your flash drive. Another live distro based on Debian is Knoppix.

Getting away from the Debian/Ubuntu family, there are even more: Fedora, OpenSUSE, Arch, Slax, Puppy, and others.

Take a look at DistroWatch... on the right side of their page it shows "hit ranking" which is a rough guide to popularity. From there you can click on the various distributions and see screenshots and follow links to the home and download pages. http://distrowatch.com/

You may stick with Zorin since it's your first experience, but there is much more to explore if you are willing. Welcome to the Linux community!
